More Thoughts on “Education”

13 July 2015

Education is not something that takes place between the ringing of two bells. That we accept and abide by this notion, that we teach our children, whether actively or passively by letting it be the norm,  speaks volumes about our own “education”. In the end it serves two main purposes: first it allows parents (well-conditioned) to relinquish control of their children to other agents “in good conscience” while they go about their daily business, that is, working and making a living. Second, and most damaging, it conditions the children- the future workers- to the time clock,  formal regimentation, and their ultimate future.
